CLASS PROPHECY We the junior class of '53 have just returned from our airplane trip through the United States When we entered the plane we were astonished to see Qggg Krippn as hostess In a few monments the plane was started by Qalph Orton the pilot Then we took off for Chlcago When we landed we went to the Statler Hotel where James Ackerman was running the elevator, h took us up to the Nth floor where Iarllyn Johnson, Cchamber maidb, was cleaning a room We went down to lunch and were surprised to see hr 5 hrs Roger Peterson, the former Qlgg Ruschmeyer, lunching whlle on thelr honeymoon The next day was Sunday so we all went to church Here was Rev Carl Lehne As we contlnued our trip we met Dale Gilhoi going to New York to start his two week performance at the Stork Club He invited us to attend an evening performance in which Shirleg Graupman would be singing a solo We had a very engoyable time talking to D le on the plane When we landed, besides going to the Stork Club, we went to Carneige Hall to hear getty Kloempken playlng the piano The next morning we decided to buy a paper to read an account of her concert As we neared the corner we heard a fam1l1ar voice of -lpn Luedloff crylng out HRead all about it Earl Pagenkopf elected mayor of New York City was driving, who took us to the airport We went as far as Dallas, Texas As we went out sightseeing we saw Eldon Rath operating all his oil wells in his back yard As we kept driving we saw Lyle Anderson working on his cattle ranch Our next stop was Los Angeles Je saw Danlel Freylack, the great movie producer or the set of h1s new plcture HThe Stewart Storyn starring Rose -ary Koenig and Lgggy Larson e went to the Rose Bowl game and saw Jalgg Burke, the win 1 g teams capt crown the Queen of Roses, Joicelyn Kirchoff . er . - e , .
