Unique in the annals of the war and perhaps alone in U.S. Naval Historyf the YSCOV' ery of the U.S.S. STEWART from the Japanese adds a famous name and story of a gallant ship to the records. As a RAMP with an enviable war record the DD224 rates a salute and tribute from the men and women of the United States Navy.
