Industrial Arts is a group of classes for 7th graders. There is metal and wood shop, drafting, and you can take graphics. In 8th and 9th grade some of those but they are taken seperately. Either boys or girls can take this, but before this year, only boys could take it. In metal shop, the kids weld and make useful things, and in wood shop they learn how to shape and cut wood. Graphics is making things like linoleum u blocks and r you design a class and use bber stamps, and in drafting house and build it. In the eighth grade, you cannot have home- making, but in the ninth grade, it is an elective class. During the one or two years of honremalcing, you learn to cook, sew, how to groom yourself, and even how to change a baby, of course, you donlt use real babies. Every year, ninth grade girls Homemaking put together a Christmas tea. The students invite staff, faculty, and the parents. The purpose of this tea is to provide social function planning, opportunity to hostess, and to serve as an open house for parents. K fr 65

Resource Center The Resource Center is a good, quiet place to get your work done. The R.C. or Resource Center has many sources of information. There are encyclopedias, paperbacks, and hardbacksg almost any book that you could ever need. There is one Librarian and two assistants. Every hour, two or three library aides come in and help with the work.
