Cheerleading sounds easy, but if you haven't ever tried out you don't know how hard it really is. The 7th and 8th grade Cheerleaders worked hard to get their routines ready for the games. If they miss a practice, they don't cheer the next game. So you see, their practices are very important. Their sponsor is Miss Pietrzak. The 8th grade Cheerleaders went to camp last summer and won one ribbon, lst place. We all owe the cheerleaders and their sponsor a lot of praise. SEVENTH GRADE CHEERLEADERS, FRONT: Debbie Salfi. 'S CHEERLEADERS, LEFT TO RIGHT: Gretchen Smith, Kim Reynolds, Janet Wallis, Debbie Devine, Missy Cattell, Julie Brown, Jeannine Forge, and Kris Lindsey. This yearis ninth grade cheerleading squad worked harder than ever to do a great job! The cheerleaders went to the United States Cheerleading Association camp this summer. They came back winning one trophy for outstanding Junior High as well as tive first place ribbons and a second place ribbon in competition. The cheerleaders also went to Waterford Mott High School Cheer- leading clinic and came home winners of a first place trophy. They supported the football and basketball teams all the way, and we would like to congratulate them on a super line job that they did! 42
