Reading Development Home Economics is a class that sev- enth and ninth grade girls can take if they are interested in learning about nu- trition, color schemes., child care and various aspects of home-making. Ninth grade girls go into more detailed instruc- tion in items such as interior decoration. Industrial Arts classes are the ones to take if you're a boy and interested in developing your skills in working with metal, wood, and drafting. Seventh grade students get some experience in all these areas, but in the ninth grade stu- dents may specialize in just one material and thereby become more skilled in that area.
