Team sets new records on way to best season With improvements on rebounding and often- sive output the ninth grade basketball team, led by Coach Donald Castle, set a school rec- ord of l5 Wins and one loss. During the season they also established many other records such as most consecutive Wins: ll, and most points scored in a quarter: 31. Although the boys l coached last year Were- good, these were better. Every player gave a good team effort, no one was out there for in- dividual goals, Coach Castle- commented at season end. He also felt the toughest games were the two against Crary. The Mariners emerged victorious on both occasions, the first time Winning by one point, and the second coming trom behind to Win in overtime.
