I t v Did we, the students and faculty of Mason Iunior High School, help promote the ideal of peace on earth, especially here, around us? Did peace begin with us? lt was ta big year for all the Maariners, with the variety of activities as differ- ent as the variety of people who got involved. Besides record-breaking athletic teams, great strides were made academically. And many students participated in extra-curricular events. With teamwork and effort, peace was a reality. We hope this yearbook ll- lustrates the effort made by the faculty and student body. Thanks go to Mrs. Marion Novess, yearbook adviserp Mr. Hay Figg, rep- resentativeof the American Yearbook Company: Mr. Richard Slade, of Slade's Printing Companyg and Mr. Keith Phillips, instructor of photography, for help- ing the yearbook staff produce a book that will make everyone remember the l97U-71 school year. ,l z li Vry , , 'l s -4 v. ll X -,'x, -1 ' .1 'V 31- if V t T -. l.
