The 140 members of Ski Club packed up their gear and headed for the slopes at 'Pine Knob immediately following Christmas vaca- tion. As lang as good skiing conditions lasted, they plied the hills every Monday aitemoon. Weekly attendance was always great, in spite of the fact that members had to provide their own transportation, and sometimes slippery slopes and cold bitter weather pre- vailed. Everyone seemed to improve rapidly with practice, even the beginners. Although riding the ski lift and plowing down the slopes were fun, the chance to get inside to a warm, crackling tire was always appreciated. slci club '119
