Chorus, Choirs Harmony yields cheer Harmony and happiness filled the air When the eighth and ninth grade choruses got to- gether. These combined groups consisted of 295 members, and sang music ranging from early madrigals to contemporary pop tunes, Important events in which the vocalists parti- cipated, included the Waterford Township Choir- Festival and the Iunior High Festival. ln addition to the full choruses, there were two smaller groups, the eighth grade Select Choir and the ninth grade Chamber Choir. The Chamber Choir consisted of 45 members and the Select Choir of 40 members. Both groups Were chosen by voice testing and knowledge of music. The harmony must be perfect when you're preparing for a concert. G A A, Gymnastics Club Gymnasts find exercise fine One of the best places to relax and turn loose during a busy week was down in the gym with the Gymnastic Club and the Girls Athletic As- sociation. Experiments with different maneuvers spiked their activities in which basketball, human pyra- mids, trampoline exercises, and other sports were perfected for pure enjoyrnents as well as performances for the Spring Open House. Par- ents were invited to view six boys, under the direction of Mr. Donald Pence, execute different sequences of tumbling on the trampoline and the mats.
