MARINER Staff Staff strives for perfection Several of the most time consuming jobs one can ever undertake are the assignments given to the yearbook staff. The copywriters, layout designers, photographers, index organ- izers, and many others, spent many additional hours after school and on Saturdays writing and rewriting, checking and rechecking, plan- ning and often changing to make sure every part of the book came as close to their high standards as they could possibly make it. Co-Editors-in-Chief Lesa Bozek and G-errie Hill gave much of their time and energy in an effort to meet all of the deadlines. For all the staff, the most gratifying part of the year was to see the complete yearbook printed and ready for distribution. Mixing chemicals for the last step in printing photo- graphs, Kirk Tuson, Rob Htuiter, and Bruce Fowler know that a slip here can mean ruined prints. Their job involves keeping accurate records of all yearbooks sold and all money collected. A new record of 1200 book sales is the achievement of the 1970 staff.
