There is a qreat qroup of people who are not only lively, but interested in Mason. These people are none other than the cafeterians and custodians. Operating the kitchen expertly, the food service employees prepared an average of 1400 lunches per day. The 17 ladies actually served all of these meals in just an hour and 40 minutes. The task of keeping up the building dropped upon the shoulders of the custodians, which consisted of a crew of nine men. Most students and teachers never saw them at Work, but their efforts were obvious to all every day. 117
