Preparing for a future trade The Auto Mechanic students were concerned with different areas of the automobile each nine weeks. One se- mester wheel alignment and engines were studied. The students devoted half of their time to book work and the other half to working in the shop. Interested Rapid City citizens, teachers, and often times the students themselves brought in cars for the classes to work on. The Ford Motor company donated several new engines for class study. Inspecting the welding on the rack for the horse trailer are Dan Hirchert, Randy Sogge, Frank Keliker and Everett Fite. , Terry Weaver Dauses momentarily before continuing his assignment in the auto repair shop.
