Biology students find microscopes useful in their study of . living things. Laboratory experi- ments help students to understand Biology. Biology, a required subject, Chemistry and Physics, both electives, were offered at Stevens this year. Biology deals with the study of living things and is taught through laboratory work. Chemistry included the study of atoms, molecules, and compounds which lead to the study of various chemi- cal laws. Physics dealt with the study of heat, light, sound, mechanics, electricity, and atom physics.

Solving problems You could have walked into any of the math rooms this year and seen students Working proofs, graphing, solving equations and in general studying hard. Students at Stevens High School had a variety of math courses to choose from. Sophomores had their choice of Algebra I, Math 10, Math Refresher, and Geometry. Although most juniors took Algebra ll, Math Refresher, Geometry, and Algebra l were also offered to them. Algebra ll, Geometry, and Trigo- nometry were offered to seniors. For the most mathematically minded students there were the Honors and Advanced Placement Programs. With the guiding hand of Mr. Boner, Brad Wade works a proof. Has anyone got number 4 yet'?
