188 Wow, she's a cutie! , seems to be the expression on the faces of Raider Club Members, Rich Sagem, Tim Crawford, Scott Hickey, and Rob Nadeau. Raider Club Member, Tim Callahan, spends his time studying during Mass Media, With the opening of Stevens High, much spirit was needed to overcome that of Central's the cross-town rival. The students of Stevens were wholeheartedly behind the spirit move , but no one was behind the move more than the members of the Raider Club. The club consisted of almost 50 junior and senior boys. To qualify for membership in the club, they had to participate a certain length of time in any of the varsity sports, for example, 6 quarters of football, 6 quarters of basketball, or l point in an official track meet. The main activities of the club this year, were to raise money for blazers, decide on the color and style of the blazers, and to decide on the style of the emblem to put on the blazers. To raise this money, the club sponsored dances, received a portion of the funds from the snack bar, and the special activity was the selling of knit hats. The club ended the year with the initiation of new members and a dinner banquet.
