The boys' gymnastics team this year was under the direction of Mr. Tom Voorhis, a gym teacher in the Rapid City elementary level. The squad consisted of nine boys: Darrell Bray, Seniorg Duane Bunkowske, Rich Curtis, Pat Beaudette, and Griff Mead, Juniorsg Mike Gamet, Craig Bullius, Jim Matuska, and Dan Ladenber- ger, Sophomores. The equipment did not come in until near the end of the year, thus accounting for only one win for the year. The gymnastics team helped Mr. Williams with his gym classes. Some of the boys received school credit for this. Mr. Voorhis was quite satisfied with his first year team in spite of their record. He is optimistic about next year's team with quite a few of the boys returning. Darrell Bray concentrates on his form and technique on the side horse, Mike Camet prays for strength as he works on the rings
