if . ,,.... a 'l Rams CITY Sensor The front of the new Rapid City Stevens High School, Hundreds of Rapid City citizens attended the formal dedication of Rapid City Stevens High School on Sunday, May 3. The new coin- plex bears the name of former superintendent Paul C. Stevens who retired in 1968. Speakers for the occasion were Supt. Charles A. Lindly, Mayor Jack Allmon, Circuit Judge Joe Bottum, and Rex Smith, president of the SHS student council. During the ceremony a portrait of Paul C. Stevens was presented and the Homer Schwentker Library in the BHAVTS was dedi- cated. Following the dedication there was an open house. Student council president Rex Smith speaks at the dedication. 143
