124 The H R IDU creates spirit The Raid got off to a great start with a couple of spirit-filled days. There was Clash Day , Hat Day , Blue and Silver for whitej Day , and Stomp Day . Thursday night, October 16, was the coro- nation of the first Raider Homecoming Queen, Heidi Stark, and her court. Starla Walkup and Linda Anderson were chosen as the two Senior Attendants. Cindy Hoyer was chosen as Junior Page and Melanie Stember as Sophomore Page. Following the coronation was the burning of an A , a symbol for Alliance, Nebraska, who was defeated in the game Friday night. Spirit continued to increase as the class and organization floats, the products of many hours, days, and Weeks of Work, were finished and displayed to the public in a parade on Fri- day.
