l My gill, X X 0, iw W ' His key to success: a respect for his students and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching senior English. Because of these two basic factors Mr. Normand C. Paquette has earned the title of the most respected teacher in Stevens High School. Always stressing the fact that the student is number one in importance, Mr. Paquette finds that this action is a part of the mutual respect. Although he has been teaching at Stevens for thirty one years, his classes are still as exciting and as fresh as those of an anxious young college graduate. With Mr. Paquette's philosophy of You never concentrate on the negative, every student feels confident enough to contribute to an intense dis- cussion during class. The students love Mr. Paquette as much as he loves them and will truly miss him after he retires at the end of this school year. There is not a youngster I dislike or even feel irked by. I've never been sorry I came to Stevens. I've had a very fortunate life.
