THIS IS OUR FACULTY. To the members of the Class of 1951: Your class has been the first to have had a guidance teacher during all four years of high school. In my interviews with each member of your class this year I have been impressed with the results of that program. You have shown that you have done some clear thinking about your future plans, and you have had more definite ideas about your work after high school graduation. All of us who know you well have been pleased with your willingness to cooperate for the welfare of the school. Your efforts to build a strong character and to develop a good person- ality should pay rich dividends in the years ahead. High scholarship is very desirable, but the above qualities are all important. As this is being written in the late fall of 1950, we are again at war. The unrest of the world must trouble you as young people. World events happen so quickly that none of us can predict what the situation will be when your graduation day arrives. My only bit of advice to you would be: keep yourselves strong physically, mentally, and spiritually 5 do each day's task to the best of your abilityg and look forward with courage and confidence to a world which one day can live in peace. To each and every one of you, I wish a happy and successful life. Sincerely, - 0 YI 5
