Stover Theater Productions This year, Stover Theater ' s repertoire has included a wide variety of plays: a farce, a comedy from the Theater of the Absurd, an adaptation of a Greek tragedy, a play based on The Diary of A Young Girl, an opera, and a Children ' s Theater presentation. These productions provide the stu- dents with an opportunity to participate not only on stage, in the spotlight, but behind the scenes as well. Auditions are held before each production, and those students not selected for the cast usually try out their talents in some other aspect of the theater arts, such as make-up, set design and con- struction, lighting effects, costuming, properties, publicity, and prompting. Stover Theater ' s production of The Mad Woman of Chaillot This year Stover was honored to have as guest star in its production of Antigone, John Caradine, vvho portrayed Creon.
