WILLIAM SIMS ALLEN President THE PRESIDENT ' S MESSAGE The session 1943-1944 has been one of unusual ac- tivity. Students, teachers, administrative officers have so reorsanized their work as to offer to our Government complete and v hole-hearted co-opera- tion in the war effort. The STAR Unit has been a vital part of the University. Much thought has been given to the post-war years and to the new condi- tions they will bring. At the same time the high- est educational standards have been maintained. Morale has been high.
