Admil1iSI1ri:lti0l1 Mr. Mauck, principal at Sterling Middle School for the past eight years, was the final authority on decisions affecting our school. He not only kept us from running in the halls but also saw that the school was open for shows and concerts. He made reports to the Central Office that were complete and on time. He supervised the overall functioning of the school, from students to finances. His jobs were many and varied and kept him very busy but he did like to have contact with the students as much as possible. Wulf' .th Ms. Comet was the assistant principal in charge of curriculum. She developed the master schedule for all classes at S.M.S. and helped schedule each student into those classes. She oversaw the curriculum taught and provided guidance in those areas when asked. .. .V . . slr. f .. -am.. . .. in M yr. I y L 4. we M A Q . . . .M -. l . 't El .. f :if 'i ,Q 7 'M 1 ... She also had the responsibility of seeing that our school was kept in order so that the learning pro- cess could take place.
