Foreword Sterling High School, bless her name , So ends our Alma Mater. As we observe the rapidly fading glow of our careers, we LOOK TOWARD THE FUTURE with gratitude and with hope. We look with gratitude because of the profound knowledge that we have gained here. The class of 1962 cherishes high hopes for our ever-growing institution-an institution that is a perpetual source of knowledge, inspiration, confidence, and pleasure. The members of the Torch staff are grateful to the administration for its confidence in us to edit this annual, and it is our desire that in succeeding years this edition will be a pictorial exemplification of our sincere devotion to Sterling High School.
