Q fig 4 OPQLUOI' The Torch Staff takes great pride in present- ing in photographic style, a vivid pictorial display to emphasize more clearly the cultural, social, and congenial atmosphere that prevails at Sterling High School. lt is our desire that the features of this annual will ever remind us of the many activities in which we have engaged during our high school career. The members of the staff, along with the senior class, wish to express our appreciation to Mr. Beck the principal, and members of the faculty for their I untiring patience and the guidance and inspiration which they have given us. May we, upon this solid and secure foundation, prove to be fthe progressive leaders of tomorrow. It is also our sincere hope that this annual will serve as an inspiration to all the underclassmen and encourage them to take advantage of the many wonderful offerings and opportunities at Sterling, so that they too, may look forward to success in the future.
