This is a freshman algebra class. Miss Virginia Weston also teaches geometry. Two years of mathematics are required of all students for graduation. All freshmen take algebra, and geometry is offered in the sophomore year. xx lf! Schultz, Marian Novak. YL-'Sli-4-P if! 1 All girls receive their physical education in- struction from Miss Amy Turnell. Freshmen and sophomore girls have two periods a week and juniors and seniors have one hour a week. Here is a sophomore class in tumbling. Fresh- men are required to take one semester of hygiene also under Miss Turnell. This year first and second year girls learned the fundamentals of soccer, tumbling, square dancing, softball, and basketball. . Juniors and seniors participated in tennis, archery, bowling, various individual sports and volley ball. Miss Turnell also coaches the cheer leaders. Zi
