Miss Helen Pasek has five classes of sopho- me W .5 l mores like this one, who spend one semester studying English composition and one semester reading American literature. The composition sections had fun this year writing to famous persons to ask about their favorite hooks when in high school. She also teaches typing and book- keeping and instructs at night school. Commercial courses are elective during the junior and senior year, and many students take advantage of this early training in office work. I9
