Gee, I hope we heat that Dixon team. . . They need a good licking after the way they'1fe hragged that they're going to heat us . . . I bet our winning touchdown is made hy that certain senior end. Not so long ago we were out there leading the students in cheers. . . It makes you feel like the old men of the mountain . . . still it's fun to see all the old gang again. Coach Scheid and Miss Turnell and Chairmen Richards and Schueler instigated the jamhoree . . . mammoth pep meeting . . . old grads . . . old cheer-leaders . . . yells, noise, furor . . . old-time football heroes marching again .... The school electric over the coming game. Homecoming parade . . . floats . . . band playing . . . loyal fans joining the fun . . . grads parading on the field . . . invincible Dixon meeting her match . . . final score, 6f6. At last we get a breathing spell . . . Tooting in the band isn't what its cracked up to be . . . That parade was really a honey . . . and this game is some thriller . . . it looks like we might win. lt's been years since l've played football . . . but they still have a team to be proud of . . . I really get a kick out of seeing my old class- mates again after all these years . . . homef coming is certainly a good idea. The parade has finally started . . . At last Sterling will sit up and take notice of their high school . . . It looks like an exciting game. From the looks of things, the whole town will be there. What yell should we give now? . . . Sterling's ahead by one touchdown . . . there's so little time left now that Sterling couldn't lose . . . At worst a tie is all we could get.
