Charlie Davis Charlie Davis is a 1953 Sterling City High School graduate. In 1969. he was elected to the Sterling City Independent School Board. He became president of the school board in 1982 and succeeded in passing three bond issues for school improvements. To the students of S.H.S.. Charlie Davis is a leader. He has shown special love and concern for those in our school. We would like to extend our appreciation for all the love, support and hard work he has done. We wish him the very best of everything in the future. D E D I C A T I 0 N Halley Barlemann was born in Lott. Falls County. Texas. After graduating from high school in Marlin. Texas, she went on to Sam Houston State College. She received her master’s in Elementary Education from Baylor University. She taught at five different schools and has been teaching in Sterling City since 1956. Her career totals forty-three years. Mrs. Barlemann has filled children’s hearts with happiness and will always be remembered by each and every person at Sterling City School.
