News At SHS The second-period Civics class reads attentively their living textbook. Newspapers at SHS have been introduced as a living textbook in Miss Russell's social studies classes. Students read and discuss local, state, and interna- tional happenings in the daily paper. Each week a bulletin board committee of four students selects articles of par- ticular interest to put up for the entire class to read.
