Otewvtf . . The 1957 edition of the Yellow Jacket has been published with but one objective: to capture a year - - its spirit, its mood, its memory - - between the covers. While the annual staff knows that the spirit of Stephenville High is a ,multitude of realities which are too intangible to be depicted in black and white, perhaps in some small way we can preserve this spirit we all hold so dear. If this book will serve as a bridge to the past and bring to mind the priceless memories of joy and pleasures of the year just gone, it will have served its purpose. There are those without whose efforts this book, the largest Yellow Jacket ever published, would not have been pos- sible. The staff would like to thank all of you.
