Sponsor One of the most outstanding and responsible jobs given students during their four years at Stephenville High School is to serve on the student council and be a good member. The duties of a member in S. P. C. are to act as a medium between faculty and students, co-ordinate student activities, encourage improvement in school citizenship, maintain high ideals of the school, and sponsor and promote school projects. These responsibilities, in themselves, are not difficult but require the constant attention of the members. The council, seven representatives from each class, must be leaders scholastically as Well as socially. The elected student body president automatically assumes the important task of council president. . The sponsors aid the organization in the selection and accomplishment of projects the council undertakes. During the year the most noteworthy projects are sounding' off every morning, sponsoring concessions, presenting programs, packing and dis- tributing Christmas boxes, and initiating school entertainments and parties.
