To THE STUDENTS or STEPHENVILL1-3 HIGH SCHOOL Although we entered and have passed through this school year in a state of uncertainty due to the world upheaval that is in progress it is hoped by the administration of this institution that we may look back on the accomplishment of the three objectives which we have had in mind. First, that we contribute all possible to- ward the successful prosecution of the warg second, that we might preserve the ideals of democracy and foster those activities that pro- mote those idealsg and third, that we keep open minds so that we might progress educationally, morally, and spiritually. The fine spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding between students, ex-students, teachers, and patrons has been the main con- tributing factor toward the realization of those objectives. AUNIINISTHATIUN To THE SENIOR CLASS or 1944 During the present crisis we have come to realize more than ever before that an educa- tion fits one for service for himself and for his fellows. You have been in school eleven years and are now completing your work in Stephenville High School. You have been an inspiration to usg you have accomplished muchg but of course you will not feel that you have made all necessary preparation for your future. I am sure that you will continue to better fit yourselves for service in a war- torn world. May success and happiness be yours. IVAN P.'OLIVER, Supermtcndent fQZ2fW COLLIN B.
