This four year scholarship is awarded to two senior boys from either Rum- ford or Mexico, to pursue the study of engineering, as re- lated to the manufacture of pulp and paper, at the U. of M. in the College of Technology. The town of Rumford, nestled in the heart of the Oxford Hills, is a shopping center for many surrounding villages. Progressive merchants are expanding along Con- gress Street which is pietured here. ln the foreground may he seen the facade of the Mechanics Institute Building, a community center sponsored by the Oxford Paper Company.
