m E ji, The Council of Hall Counselors, headed by Miss Grace Curtis of Senior Hall, and sponsored. by Dean Weldon P. Shofstall, is the organization through which the Work of the counselors and their assistants is coordi- nated. It is because they are an important part of the guidance staff that the hall counselors work with Dean Shofstall, head of the guidance program. Each residence hall counselor is Dean of Women in her own hall. Through hall meetings and house council, the residence hall counselors are responsible for group organization and instruction as well as in- dividual guidance. The efforts of counselors to obtain a Well-knit, out-of-class guidance program are carried out 'through the weekly meetings of the Council with Dean Shofstall and t.l1e student meetings of hall presidents in Adminis- trative Council. The counselors also work closely with the Student Health Division, the Extra-Class Division and the various specialized services on campus, such as the clinics, advisers, and admissions counselors. ,. . -5 1 Y J., ' 1 Kg'-. v . .
