It is under his leadership and guidance that Stephens has grown and developed from the small college it was to the well-equipped insti- tution of today. President Wood's intensive interest in other people has given him an unusual insight into the Worries and problems of others, and it is because of this that so many girls seek the advice and encouragement he so readily offers.
