Tammy Faye and Jim Baker - Scandal brought this couple to their downfall, which has been described as, Mickey and Minnie being kicked out of Disneyworld. —A ferry to Dover overturned in the worst English Channel disaster since World War II. -Indiana University, led by coach Bobby Knight, won the NCAA basketball crown. -Jonathon Jay Pollard, U.S. naval intelligence analyst, was sen- tenced to life imprisonment for spying for Israel. -Sugar Ray Leonard beat Marvelous Marvin Hagler in the middleweight championship fight.
