We believe that, taken as a whole, it has been a period of personal growth and intellectual development for the vast majority of the students and faculty. Certainly it is true that we are mos happy to see this fine group of seniors, the largest in the history of our College, achieve the distinction of college graduation. For each of you who is leaving with our highest award, a standard academic degree, we hope and trust that future years will be arduous, profitable, developmental, interesting, and happy. For those still plodding the academic path, we wish good hunting, and the persistent drive to surge to even greater heights than your predecessors.
