MIDDLE SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS The seven Middle School Cheerleaders for 1987 were Salina Hopper h head cheerleader, Christina O'Donald, Jeana Chance, Jodi McFarlin, Michelle McFarlin, Loukisha Kemper, and Trenall Jackson. From cheerleader camp they brought home three ex- cellents and one superior rib- bon. They also entered Cavoilcade for competition and came in first place. HBeing a cheerleader was a good experience and a lot of fun, said Jodi McFarIin, Camp was one of the funnest parts of being a cheerleader even though it was hard work, said Jeana Chance. Our 1987 Middle School Cheerleaders showed a lot of spirit to represent our school and the football players for the middle school as well as the high school. e J.V. CHEERLEADERS 26 The 1987-88 junior varsity cheerleaders were Toy Perry, Jodie Ballou, Kristi England, Jen- nifer Stevenson, and Christina Kruger. The junior varsity cheerleaders did very well at camp. Sponsor Regina Gaspard said, The cheerleaders worked very hard, but it was well all of the hard work. They brought home four superior ribbons, one excellent ribbon, and also an HAward for the Excellence nominee to SFA. They also brought home the 'lspirit stick from camp. JV cheerleaders are all smiles as they pose for the camera. JV cheerleaders are Christina Kruger, Jodie Ballou. Jennifer Stevenson, Dristi England, and Toy Perry. They are performing a pyramid at one of the pep rallies, Kristi, Christina, Jennifer and Jodie are getting ready to perform at the pep rally.
