Cheryl Sparks Goes To State Senior Cheryl Sparks was the school's representative at the t state meet held at the University of Texas at Austin May 6. h L Cheryl came back with a silver medal for winning second place in the editorial writing contest. She qualified for the state meet by placing first at the regional meet in Huntsr ville. Also at that meet in Huntsville, Robert Blackwell placed third in news writing, Angela Allen placed fourth in the 440 yard dash and Gail Breaux ran a close third in the mile run.
