Honor,s Da y Awards Scholars SevenIy-five awards went to about 50 students at the Hon- or's Day Program. Several students took more than one award. The top award was for the most outstanding student which went to Jay Schenkew- itz. George Sparks won the most outstanding citizen award. One sludem from each grade also won an academic award. A boy and a girl from each grade won citizenship awards. The 13 departments chose students to win departmental awards. Various offices gave awards to students who have been out- standing office aids. Representatives from civic and industrial organizations presented nine awards. Several of these awards included savings bonds and scholarships.
