He graduated from Van High, home of the fighting Vandalls, in 1952. In 1960 he received his B. S. from S. F. Austin State College and his Masters in 1964. He began his teaching career at S.F.A. in 1960. These eight years have been marked by his: Willingness to work, chaperoning school activities. Dedication to the F.T.A. Humbleness in being the school paper- boy. Occupying a permanent place in the teachers lounge and keeping the coffee pot going. Mr. Tunnell has contributed a grear deal towaxds making the year of '68 a wonderful one. He holds a permanent place in the lounge. He's always helpful when it comes to eating at F. T. A. teas.
