Dedication The 1967 Annual Staff is proud to dedicate the Eglito Miss Alice Kethley. We feel that she is a most deserving person, setting an example of high standards, as well as guiding the footsteps of countless individuals. Miss Kethley graduated from this school in 1952. Upon graduation she went to Lamar Tech College for two yelrs, finishing her last two years of college at Sam Houston. She received her B.S. Degree in history in 1956. Her first teaching job was in Warren, Texas, where she taught four years and sponsored the yearbook. Her love for travel led her to Okinawa with the American Dependent Schools. During holidays and vacations, she traveled to such places as Madrid, Rome, Venice, Genoa, Amsterdam, Paris, and London. After two years had elapsed Miss Kethley joumeyed to Anchorage, Alaska, where she taught in Fort Richardson. One year later found her training for the Peace Corp.
