Life is filled with hopes and dreams. People love, people hate, and people strive for victory and honor. Life also contains a countless procession of bridges which each must cross in order to attain his goals. Others can instruct and guide us, but we must have the will to put one foot ahead of the other and continue the march. The '66 annual staff sincerely hopes that it has successfully and satisfactorily recorded the events of the year. We also hope that this year has benefited everyone and prepared the student body for life's many. . . TEXAS PUBLIC LIBRARY We Dedicate The annual staff of 1966 dedicates this yearbook to the Castete's, with sincere thanks and gratitude for all they have done for the student body as a whole. Mrs. Castete has helped make the S.F.A. Pep Squad 3 fine organization in which the community is quite proud. Mr. Castete has been a guiding light to 911; football team here at S.F.A. He has spent many long hours drilling and pushing our team on to victory. Susan has .been mascot for three years, and though sheis only eight, she has been a contributing factor to the cheerleading line. Mr. and Mrs. Castete reside at 2886 82nd St. in Port Acres. They are the proud parents of two children, Susan and Ann Castete who is five years old. Mr. and Mrs. Castete were two leading students during their high school and college years and have extended this leadership to the halls of S.F.A. as teachers and sponsors. Dur- ing transition. one may find him in the main hall, arms crossed, face friendly but observant and always willing to help any student with any problem he may have. He received his B.S. and M.S. at L.S.U. and his E.D.D. at the Univ. ofHouston. Before coming here, he was the assistant principal at Edison. On June 9, 1943 he married Dorothy and now has one daughter, Lynne Ann, age 14. His favorite hobby is golf and he may add jokingly, running Stephen F. Austin. School Officers MR.
