Recognition was given by Coach Castete to the boys who received All-District and Althtate honors. Football lettermen stand as they are recog- nized. Cheerleaders, Diana Broussard, Lelia Guidry, Ruth Richard, Beverly Broussard, Sally Miller and Dixie Russell are recognized for their out- standing jobs. Coach Fredrick and Coach Castete try on their new sports jackets which were given them by the football team. Co-captains Gordon Perry and Ken- neth Carlin leave a few words of ad- vice to the returning members of the team.

FOOTBALL BANQUET Frenchy Dominque served as Master of Ceremonies for the banquet which was held at Schooners Restaurant. Guest speaker for the ban- quet was Coach Leonard Brown of Texas A 8: M. Everyone seemed to have had a good time. Coach Fredrick highlighted the banquet with the announcement of the Most Co- operative Players Award. Kenneth Carlin, back, and Ben Arre- dondo, lineman, receive the Most Co- operative Players trophy from Coach Fredrick.
