COUNCIL The Student Council's hand has been evident all over school—especially by the book covers they sold which are seen everywhere. More seriously, however, they sponsored the Christmas baskets for the needy and published the student di- rectory, the Hitching Post. The Council is traditionally responsible for the Homecom- ing program and Field Day; also they choose the Junior Rotarians. Feeling that parking space was inadequate, they peti- tioned for the new parking area by the gym and the tennis courts.
