PAULINA REIMER, Christian Education I feel His footsteps leading mine, I hear His voice speak words divine, His touch weaves all my life’s design, His wondrous face I see. MARY KLASSEN, Christian Education O Lord, we are the clay, and Thou our Potter.” All the years that are left to me I give to Thy hand; take, break, and mold me to the pattern of Thy plan. ELMA BRANDT, General Bible If I commit my way unto Him and trust in Him, He will bring it to pass. What? The present — He has brought. My future — He will bring. LLOYD PENNER, General Bible Bible School has been a rich experience. The spirit¬ ual orientation received has made an indelible mark on my life. Faithfulness to this trust is now my responsibility and joy. ANNE PENNER, General Bible Paul was Christ’s love slave. He was bold to state to whom he belonged and whom he served. May I too build His Church by such bold yieldedness. EDWIN REIMER, Missions For all this united studying at S.B.I. has meant to me, I regret its sudden culmination. May strength be attained from God to successfully let knowledge be turned into wisdom. ALLAN FRIESEN, Pastors Oh Lord, of the years that are left to me, I give them to Thy hand; Take me, break me, and mold me to the pattern that Thou hast planned. DORIS FRIESEN, Christian Education Before me a future all unknown — A path untried; Beside me a friend well loved and known — that Friend is God. My past ex¬ perience and future assurance: “I will guide thee . . .” Psalm 32:8

HOLD HIGH THE TORCH graduates Hold High the torch: You did not light its glow— ’Twas given you by others’ hands you know. ' Tis yours to keep it burning bright. Yours to pass on when you no more need light. For there are other feet that we must guide, And other forms go marching by our side. Their eyes are watching every tear and smile; And efforts which we think are not worth while Are sometimes just the very help they need, Actions to which their souls would give most heed; So that in turn they hold it high And say “I watched someone else carry it this way. . .” Hold high the torch! You did not light its glow— ’Twas given you by others’ hands, you know, I think it started down its pathway bright The day the master said, “Let there be light.” And he once said, who hung on Calvary’s tree— Ye are the light of the world . . . Go . . . shine for me.” ED FRIESEN, Pastors “That I may know Him. The years of Bible training have been orientated towards this goal. Studies have en¬ riched my personal life and, I trust, will result in effective, faithful ser¬ vice. MARY ANN EIDSE, Christian Education May I let God order all my ways — trust in Him whate ' er betide; And I will find Him at all times, A very present Help and Guide. 20

HILDA FRIESEN, Christian Education I am thankful for God’s guidance in my life. A verse that has helped me to tackle something difficult: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” MARY KROEKER, Christian Education At His disposal and all for His glory — My talent, my time, and my strength; May this be, not only my duty, but also desire and delight. FLORENCE EIDSE, Christian Education Consecrate me to Thy service Lord ... by the power of grace divine — let my soul look up with a steadfast hope, and my will be lost in Thine. ELMA FRIESEN, General Bible “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” God’s faithfulness in the past assures me of guidance in the future. WALTER REIMER, General Bible ‘‘Draw nigh to God” James 4:8. Communion with God is the strength of my life; Faith in God, its rule; Servitude to God, its challenge; To know God, its goal BEN DYCK, Pastors For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel. DON WARKENTIN, General Bible “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! . . . He who comes from above is above all . . . He must increase but I must decrease.” (Gos¬ pel of John) MARY FRIESEN, General Bible Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, Call ye upon Him while he is near.” Isaiah 55:6. This has been my aim here at school; and will be my desire as I leave this school. 22
