REV. H. G. REMPEL ACTS, REVELATION. HE MADE IT OVER AGAIN. Jer. 18:4. The marred vessel was broken, then the pieces were gathered, put back on the wheel and made over again as the potter desired it to be. A Bible Institute that func¬ tions under God, is to be compared with the potter, the clay, and the wheel. The marred vessel must first be broken. The Master Potter then at our request gathers the broken pieces and makes it over again, a vessel clean and fit for the Master’s use. This school year has been a time in which the Master Potter has sought to break and remake lives that could be used as channels to convey the Light of the glorious Gospel to the millions who know not Christ. It humbles me to realize that the Lord is constantly gathering the broken pieces of my life and seeking to form and shape them into a vessel to His honor. Pray with us that this process might continue in the lives of both students and teachers. MR. PETER DUECK ENGLISH MR. MENNO HAMM ALGEBRA 12

It was just this time of year—Palm Sunday to be exact—that a young chap Knelt alone in his bedroom and received the Saviour. That chap was yours truly. I cannot go into details of life that preceded this won¬ derful event, but suffice it to relate that deep conviction had seized my spirit. Under that terrible cloud of spiritual agony I had struggled for many months. Two faithful witnesses crossed my path; an Anglican clergyman, Rollo Boas, and a Baptist lay¬ man, Sam Gretzinger. Both told me the Way of Life through Christ. How I thank God for their testimony! Where would I be today were it not for their words and work? Finally that glorious night referred to above, came and I surrendered to the Lord Jesus. The truth of Revelation 3:20 stood out in bold letters in my mind. At last I capitulated to the Man of Sorrows! He en¬ tered my heart and began a great work! What a change he wrought! From one who used to play in a Jazz orchestra and was very fond of the dance; He changed me to a preacher of the Gospel and one who now tries to help young folk to “sing with the spirit and with the understanding also.” I do thank God for His goodness and mercy to me and heartily recommend Him to all as a Wonderful Saviour, Friend and Guide. MISS MARY LOEWEN DEAN OF WOMEN CHILD STUDY. PIANO. SUNDAY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION. REV. GEORGE DUGARD SCHOOL CHORUS, VOCAL CULTURE. “Suffer the little children to come unto me.” It was my privilege last summer to work with children in northern Saskatchewan. One of our tasks was to visit the rural schools with half-hour Bible programmes, using flannelgraph to make the stories clearer. Since we were not given school time in many schools, we are happy that most of the children remained in school for our class. One wonders just how much seed sown will bear fruit, since we were not allowed to give invitations to children to accept Christ. Should some take the Lord Jesus as their Saviour from sin, will they stand fast when they have possibly little or no encouragement from home, and when the teaching in church in some cases is differ¬ ent from ours? Then our thoughts turn to God’s promise, “My word . . . shall not return unto me void,” and our prayer goes up to Him that the Holy Spirit will con¬ tinue to speak to the children after the classes are over. He is able to keep them from falling. 11
