Board of Directors Mr. F. K. Friesen, Sec.-Treas., Rev. P. K. Bartel (standing), Mr. Benij. L. Reimer, pres., Mr. Abe F. Penner, Mr. G. Reimer. Missing from picture: Rev. P. J. B. Reimer, Mr. K. R. Barkman, Mr. George Loewen. The President ' s Challenge Dear Christian friends, when you sur¬ vey all the wonders of modern civilization, all the prosperity in this land of ours, the high standard of living we Christians are enjoying here in our fathers’ chosen land of Canada, does not the question arise in your mind, “Why was I privileged to be born here and to be raised in a Christian home?” From early childhood we have heard how Jesus died on the cross to purchase our redemption, to cleanse for Himself a people zealous of good works and to give us still greater blessings in eternity. When we look at the large per¬ centage of people who, because of their faith, came to America, I believe God said, I will bless them and of their seed, I will raise up a people who will bring My Word to all people of the earth.” Are we doing the work God wants us to do? Or is the day at hand when He will be forced to say, “You have been weighed in the bal¬ ances and found wanting (cf Dan. 5:27). Your highly privileged portion in this world will be taken away from you.” The Board of Directors anxiously covets your prayers that this Bible School may be used by God for His purpose in shower¬ ing blessings on people living in all the regions of the earth. —Benj. L. Reimer

We believe the Holy Scriptures, both of the Old and the New Testament, to be verbally inspired of God, infallible and the su¬ preme and final authority in faith and life. II We believe in One God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. III We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is true God and Man. IV We believe that man was created in the image of God, sinned and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and are in need of redemption. V We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice of our sins and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. VI We believe that He was bodily resurrected and ascended into heaven and at present acts for us as a High Priest and Advocate. VII We believe that all who in faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God. VIII We believe in the personal, literal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead and to reward every man according to his works. IX We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust. X We believe in the eternal duration of the blessedness of the righteous and of the punishment of the wicked. XI We believe that every believer belongs to the Bride or Church of Christ and has the responsibilit y to so live and witness that the interests of Christ shall be advanced among men. XII We believe that Christians are to live a separated life; abstain from all carnal strife, worldly practice, worldly dress and worldly amusements. 4
