4 STEINBACH BIBLE ACADEMY YEAR BOOK REV. B. D. REIMER Missions — Church History — Theology Lpzinaijia[± d l z.$ L ag 2 Timothy, 4:1-2. “I charge thee there¬ fore before ' God. and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the quick (living) and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the Word: be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doc¬ trine.” The apostle had come to the end of his life; he had finished his course. He was ready to be offered, the time of his departure had come. But there was still a tremendous work to be done. Men were still on their way to an eternal hell. But not only this. The responsibility becomes more real as Paul turns from the past and present to the future. Jesus Christ is coming to judge. When He will come we do not know; but that He will come we know. Then He is going to judge both the living and the dead, those alive in Christ, and also the dead out of Christ. Then each person will face the conse- Continued on page 36
