F i r s t Mary Ann Nickel Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 15:16. Dora Friesen Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Prov. 3:5-6. Class For most of the students in this year’s class the studying of God’s Word and other related subjects is not too difficult. But when it says “being filled with the fruits of righteousness” I personally feel that I have not lived up to that portion of Scripture. It requires so much faith, prayer and self-denial to confess Christ by our deeds. We appreciate and honour our teachers for the examples they are to us. Our principal, Mr. Reimer, patiently teaches us the fundamental principles of Christian Doctrine. On Thursday at 9:30 A.M. in our Public Speaking class we look forward with pleasure to hear the speeches of the students, but also with a faint sense of apprehension because of the criticisms that follow each speech. In Synthesis we receive a general view of certain Books of the Bible. We also study Missions. The conditions of the heathen and the divine command “Go ye” are important factors in this study. Tuesday morning after de¬ votions, Miss Ida Twining of Winnipeg greets us all with an encouraging smile and then proceeds to instruct us in Visual Aids. This is followed by Pedagogy, which deals with the laws of teaching, and Child Evangelism. Child Evangelism is neglect¬ ed in most churches and Sunday Schools but more people are gaining interest in this work. Report Twice a week Rev. Schmidt teaches Exegesis. We study and discuss Genesis “the Book of Beginnings” which is en¬ lightening and interesting. Once a week we take a hasty journey to Palestine during our Geography period with Mr. Wittenberg for our pilot. Under his su¬ pervision we also study the German lan¬ guage. When studying Bible History we seem to live with the Bible characters because Mr. Wittenberg has the gift of making history vivid and alive. We study Prayer with this experienced teacher al¬ so. In this study the essence of prayer, the essentials for a well-regulated prayer life, the difficulties and hindrances en¬ countered by Christians are all dealt with. We are especially grateful to him for his kindliness and patience in teaching us the German subjects that are neglected by so many. Those students who found the subjects difficult experienced rich blessings when their prayers were ans¬ wered and they were able to master and overcome the hindrances and obstacles. We have all been blessed as we gained a better understanding and a growing knowledge of the living truths of the Bible. It is my hope and prayer that many more young people will come to the Stein- bach Bible Academy with an earnest de¬ sire to know more of the precious Word of God. Elizabeth Rempel.

I John 3:2. Tina Reimer Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom. 12:2. John Cornelson Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Phil. 2:5. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matt. 28:19.

Year Margaret Harms I seek not mine own will, but the the Father which hath sent me. John Mrs. Aurelia Kroeker Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8: 12. Lptan White snowflakes, gliding gently Through the nippy air; Cover up the river, And houses everywhere. Transforming all creation Into a fairyland; Bach tiny feather guided By God’s Almighty hand. Each snowflake was created By Him who is the Light. Who rules the world with justice And truth, and loving might. He made them for a purpose. Each one has it’s own part To play, in bringing gladness To many a weary heart. And still a deeper purpose Than mortal souls can know I think was with His presence. When He created snow. If every little snowflake Was made with precious care (And when each point was finished Sent floating through the air.) To fulfill just one purpose, That, for which ’twas made, Would God make human beings Without a reason laid? Oh, no! He wants us Christians To yield our every will, To trust His careful guidance Obedient and still. For only thus can Jesus His plan for us fulfill. As we do follow humbly Over plain and hill. Though oft’ the road be weary And full of cruel wrong, His love will bear us onward, So wonderful and strong. Till, when He calls us to Him, We know that while on earth. We did that which He planned for Our life before our birth. Lilly Rosche.
